Dr. Iljoon Kim grew up in Southern California and attended Claremont McKenna College for his undergraduate degree. Dr. Kim decided to pursue a career in dentistry like his father. After attending Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts, he decided to continue specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Since 2000, Dr. Kim has been practicing as a pediatric dentist.
Dr. Kay Wangpichit attended the Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. Upon receiving her doctorate in 1995, she worked at the Child Psychiatric Hospital in Thailand before she continued her studies at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts. Dr. Kay completed two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry in 2000 and obtained her master’s degree in 2001.
Drs. Kim and Kay are Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Both doctors are also active in the following organizations: American Dental Association, California Dental Assocation and Harbor Dental Society
